Veneta Hoxha is a Licensed Master Social Worker and graduate of the Silberman School of Social Work. Veneta works with young adults dealing with anxiety, depression, life transitions, family conflict, relationship difficulties, stress, grief, spirituality, and self-esteem. She is Albanian and has experience working with first generation individuals and immigrants of various cultures in exploring bicultural identity, assimilation, and the effects on mental health.
As a therapist, Veneta’s approach to therapy is primarily humanistic, psychodynamic, client-centered, and sensitive to client needs and goals in therapy. She collaborates with clients, centering on introspection to identify patterns in their lives and making connections between the past and present. She aims to create a therapeutic space for clients to uncover parts of themselves to foster personal growth and experience new ways of being.
