Diana Baik, LMSW
Licensed Psychoterapist
Diana Baik, Licensed Master Social Worker, is an Asian American psychotherapist working with adults and adolescents with anxiety, depression, cultural identity, attachment issues, racial trauma, and more. She earned her Masters of Social Work with a specialization in Sexuality and Gender Studies from Hunter College, and has a Bachelor of Arts in International Studies from The Johns Hopkins University.
Diana’s past career in tech and entertainment helps her to understand stressors unique to professionals, artists, and creatives. She uses an anti-oppressive, relational lens to help you process your lived experience. While she welcomes all positionalities, she specializes in working with BIPOC, LGBTQIA+, women, children of immigrants, immigrant, and neurodivergent populations. Drawing from psychodynamic, liberatory, and evidence-based practices to help alleviate stressors based on clients’ needs, Diana believes that therapy can empower you to increase your self-esteem, strengthen your inner knowing, and improve your daily functioning. She partners with her clients to identify and change unhelpful patterns, process emotions, work through trauma, set goals, and practice healthy ways of coping. She does her best to ensure an open-minded, sex-positive and culturally-affirming space. It is her hope that therapy can help one discover a deeper sense of meaning in all facets of their life journey.
